Discovery Kit

I absolutely love my discovery Kit from Sunrise Sessions. I had been looking at their products online for a little while as the idea of doing away with plastic bottles really appealed to me. The company & story behind the product was truly inspiring in the desire to reduce plastic. I might add I am a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for organic and natural. I was wondering how the pods would work in the shower exposed to moisture and then noticed that the discover kit included a container to keep the pods in. The discovery kit was also a great choice to sample 4 products and included a great sponge. The Shampoo pod has more than sufficient product, lathered well and felt fresh and clean. The Conditioner was great too, the body wash was delightful and had a very pleasant and refreshing fragrance, suitable for men or women. I also loved the little coconut soap leaves for handwashing on the go, travelling or next to my vanity, looks better than a bottle of hand soap, feels and smells great. Besides the products being very good, I just feel good about eliminating the plastic. The packaging was beautiful and a joy to receive.

I thought the shampoo and conditioner were just ok did not do much for my hair. I had to use two as I have thick hair. At only 15 in the package, not worth it. I did like the loofah and body wash smells good.

I love all the products that I received. I would definitely purchase body wash in the future. I love shampoo and conditioners (smells so good), but the pods do not dissolve in water right away. So it is a little hard to put them in my hair (if I wait too long, all liquid will be out of my hands).
I used the container that came with the products to store 2 day worth of products. But then when I open the container, inside of container gets wet, so I can't refill the new one until it is dried... so I stopped using it. I tried to think of better solution of storing this product.... But overall, it is a great concept and love the products and its cause.

I saw these on shark tank and thought “hey, my girlfriend and I are trying to reduce our plastics, let’s give it a go” and they work great! The body wash smells amazing!

I wanted to wait until my vacation to try this, but decided not to. I have color treated hair and love at 10,200ft altitude where my hair is usually pretty dry: The shampoo and conditioners both made their mark! Smells great and makes my hair soft. Not knotted. The separator and soap leaves are perfect for traveling. Will buy again and again!
